A Philosophy I Make A Difference (unknown author)
There was a young man walking down a deserted beach just before dawn. In the distance he saw a frail old man. As he approached the old man, he saw him picking up stranded starfish and throwing them back into the sea. The young man gazed in wonder as the old man again and again threw the small starfish from the sand to the water. He asked, “Old man, why do you spend so much energy doing what seems to be a waste of time.” The old man explained that the stranded starfish would die if left in the morning sun. “But there must be thousands of beaches and millions of starfish!” exclaimed the young man. “How can you make any difference?” The old man looked at the small starfish in his hand and as he threw it to the safety of the sea, he said, “It makes a difference to this one!”

What is Reiki ? Reiki: is the phrase for "life energy". The result of receiving Reiki can be compared to a dive in the waves on a pristine beach. The symbols connect with Meridians – energy flowing in certain body lines. They assist with their natural flow.
Reiki is similar to the Arts in that every person is a canvas. The artistry in your hands can be Light sensing.

The Usui System of Reiki The Usui System: is a way of life that promotes healing.
Reiki Levels
Reiki 1 Reiki 1: A person attuned to Reiki 1 has the ability to begin giving energy to others. It is very useful for intuitive awareness.
Reiki 2 Reiki 2: A person attuned to Reiki 2 has the capacity to transfer Reiki Healing Energy over distances.
Reiki 3: Reiki 3 introduces symbols that connect with nature. We may practise this symbol for use in honour of a variety of marine animal species. The league of Marine supporters are in tune with Reiki 3. They know the healing voices of the Dolphin and the Whale. I have those amazing sounds here with our crystal set of "SOUND" Bowls.
Reiki Master Reiki Master: A person attuned as a Reiki Master will be attuning students. They will be given practice on others. Prerequisite for Reiki Masters: Reiki 1, Reiki 2 and Reiki 3 and many years experience and an attitude of caring. Students in Reiki Master Training will be taught: - The principles handed down by Dr Mikao Usui. - The sacred Usui Reiki Master symbol, its meaning and its protection. - The ethics surrounding Reiki usage. - Procedures for carrying out Reiki 1, Reiki 2, Reiki 3 and Masters Level.
Some students of natural ways of healing combine Reiki with their own special modality.

Reiki is described in Level One Tuition. The scripts of Dr Mikao Usui are briefly discussed and we aim to commence using our hands to encourage the body to begin healing. Some are explaining the practical and the safe ways of preventing personal stress. Symbols are not new. The symbols taught for Reiki purposes are those that promote healing energy. They are not ever used to harm anyone. The symbols are used to connect, with energy that is like that of beginning a new "spring clean". We feel better after them. We don't claim to "walk on water". However, I encourage my students to know - they will make a difference. They are seeking to make this world know it can begin to be peaceful. Your calmness multiplies. Anyone Interested? I hope so! - and would love to welcome you here at the "Angel Rose". Your new Reiki beginning. SOUND: Reiki is clear colour and also pure sound.
